So, it is no surprise that we have many adults come into the shop looking for a scooter for themselves.

We often recommend the Micro Classic for adults due to being a great all-rounder. However, Micro has just added another adult scooter to the line-up, the Micro Downtown Scooter, so the decision on which scooter to choose became just that little bit harder. Here we have compiled some of the features of both to hopefully help you decide on your next adult scooter.

Micro Classic Scooter

The Micro Classic is a great all-rounder with its large high-quality PU wheels that allow for maximum speed and distance with minimum effort. Its low deck enables a comfortable ride by eliminating the need to lean when kicking.  The Micro Classic is the cheaper of the two coming in at $299.99 and is suitable for those who may not need the extra benefits of the new kick-to-fold mechanism and the hand brake, like a parent who mainly rides their scooter with their kids on the weekend.

Micro Downtown Scooter

The Micro Downtown is also a great all-rounder and has high-quality PU wheels, but it has two main added benefits; the hand brake and the quick kick-to-fold folding mechanism that enables the scooter to fold or stand alone in seconds. The Micro Downtown is the more expensive of the two at $349.99 and is suitable for those who would enjoy being able to fold the scooter quickly and slow down easily with the hand brake, like a city commuter who has to navigate the crowds and fold their scooter once they get to work or jump on the bus/train.
